My version of Windoze 3.11 takes only 3MB of RAM, and allocates a 2MB
cache with an 8MB permanent swap file. Works fine on my Bridge Bored (sic).
Virtually yours,

I believe that Brian was thinking of NT 3.1 rather than WfWg 3.11 (or
is confusing installed disk space with memory usage). In either case,
NT 3.1 and 3.5 both list 12MB minimum RAM for x86 and 16MB minimum for
RISC processors. For real work, I wouldn't try NT with less than 16MB
and would recommend 32MB or more.
